On October 25, the first day of the international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey on the theme "Energy Locomotive of the Turkish Worlds" began at the Azerbaijan State Oil Company.

The participants of the conference first visited the grave of Heydar Aliyev, the founder of the modern state of Azerbaijan, the leader of the Azerbaijani people, on the Avenue of Honor, and paid deep respect to his memory.

The national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played in the event hall of the university and a minute's silence was observed in memory of the founder of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

During the conference, with the participation of ASOIU, Batman University, Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Azerbaijan Technical University, AUEZOV University, an agreement was signed on the establishment of the "Association of Energy Universities of the Turkic World Countries", and our institute became a member of this association.
