A meeting with school graduates was held

On May 1, 2025, an important event was held at the Ammofos-Maksam JSC enterprise dedicated to supporting and encouraging girls who choose the path of science and technology.

The thematic meeting was held under the inspiring slogan "Educated girls are a mirror of society."

The intended goal of the event is to popularize technical and natural sciences among schoolchildren, expand their understanding of a career in the chemical industry, eliminate gender stereotypes and build self-confidence.

Aripova, Advisor to the Rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Professor of the Department of Languages, D.I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology, A. Abdurakhimova, Dean of the Tashkent branch of the D.I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology, Almalyk city administration, Department of Family and Women, Senior Inspector of the Almalyk city Internal Affairs Bureau of the Participants were informed about the opportunities for studying at higher education institutions, including one of the capital's leading higher education institutions, Tashkent University of Chemical Technology, including full-time, part-time, evening, distance and dual forms of education.

Special attention was paid to future educational projects, such as the Advanced Engineering School, which is planned to open in 2025.

Girls were reminded that STEM professions are not just for men.

This is not just a slogan - it is a social and educational initiative:

• increasing motivation for education among girls;

• expanding opportunities for engineering and technical education;

• strengthening ties between schools, universities and industrial enterprises;

• promoting the idea of ​​equal opportunities in education and science.

Such initiatives are supported by the Committee for Women and Family Affairs, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, as well as chemical industry enterprises that feel their social responsibility.
