As is known, by the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4805 dated August 12, 2020, cooperation relations were established with the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and secondary school No. 28 in the Almazar district of Tashkent.
In order to implement the tasks set out in this resolution, on December 20 of this year, the next visit of professors and teachers of the departments of "Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances" and "Chemistry" of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology to secondary school No. 28 in the Almazar district of Tashkent city was held.
The event was attended by Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering N. Zulyarova, Associate Professors of the Department of "Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances" M. Adilova, K. Arifdzhanova and D. Tursunova, Teacher of the Department of "Chemistry" M. Bekmuratova, Head of the "Chemistry" Club Z. Eshbo'riyeva, Active Students of the Institute, as well as Teachers of School No. 28 and Students Interested in Natural Sciences.
This event served to increase the interest of schoolchildren in chemistry and natural sciences, to familiarize them with the opportunities in the field of science, and to attract the younger generation to scientific activities.
Initially, Associate Professor of the Department of "Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances" M. Adilova provided information about the scientific and educational activities of the Institute. She made a presentation about the achievements of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, scientific developments, and opportunities created for young people. After that, the associate professor of the department K. Arifdjanova provided detailed information about the structure of the institute and the educational process. During the event, the head of the “Chemistry” club organized at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Z. Eshbo'riyeva, conducted “Interesting Laboratory” lessons for students. Various chemical experiments were demonstrated in these lessons, and students gained information about interesting and vital aspects of chemistry.
In addition, a master class was organized for students interested in chess by the head of the chess club of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, a laureate of international competitions, Rukhshona Bashritdinova. Students who actively participated were awarded with souvenirs.
This meeting served to increase the interest of students of school No. 28 in chemistry, natural sciences and sports. Cooperation between the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and school No. 28 is of great importance in directing the younger generation towards scientific and intellectual development.
It is planned to hold such events regularly in the future, which will serve to further develop effective ties between schools and higher educational institutions.
