Mengliyev, head of the chemical processing technology department, Ulviya Abbasova, vice-rector for international relations, Yashar Gasanov, dean of international students, ATUIAB and "KAVKAZ ACADEMI" founder - Imanzade Ruslan Mirzabin Uglu, executive director of "KAVKAZ ACADEMI" - Keltadjiyeva Nazima Sirojidinovna participated.

Educational and scientific cooperation between higher educational institutions in the fields of chemical technology (chemical technology of oil and gas), including joint educational programs, was discussed at the meeting. A memorandum of cooperation was discussed between Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.

The parties also agreed to develop the following cooperation activities:

- joint organization of seminars, conferences, practical trainings, short-term continuing education programs;

- to encourage the exchange of scientific, scientific and administrative personnel to share experience, give lectures, conduct scientific research, improve skills, participate in conferences and other events;

- contributing to bilateral and international joint educational and scientific projects;

- organizing and conducting joint lectures and seminars (including online), joint educational and scientific-production projects;

- to contribute to the strengthening of cooperation in international rankings;

- organizing and holding production practice, summer and winter schools in order to improve the scientific qualifications of doctoral students, master's students and professors.
