On June 25, 2024, a press conference was held on the topic "Organization of admission processes for the 2024/2025 academic year at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the work being carried out in the field of engineering training."
It was led by rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich, vice-rectors, faculty deans and other officials took part in it. Journalists and bloggers from more than 10 television and radio channels, internet sites and newspapers attended the press conference.
At first, rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich gave information on the priority tasks and activities of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology in the field of personnel training and further improvement of the activities of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. Ravshanovich informed higher education organizations about the main changes in admission processes and the ongoing work on organization of admission processes for the academic year 2024/2025 at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.

For information, there are 5 faculties and 24 departments at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. There are 31 bachelor's programs and 30 master's degrees, and currently 8404 students are studying (4479 full-time undergraduates, 81 evening students, 3511 part-time students, 218 joint students, 115 master's students).
347 professors and teachers work in the main staff of the institute, 197 of them are employees with academic degrees and titles. Of these, 50 are doctors of science (including DSc), professors, 147 are candidates of science (including PhD), associate professors, the scientific potential is 56.7%.
