On May 20-25, 2024, the international scientific week "Sustainable development and green economy" will be held at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. Today, on May 23, within the framework of the international scientific week "Sustainable development and green economy", the International conference dedicated to the 111th anniversary of the doctor of technical sciences, professor, academician Malik Nabiyevich Nabiyev on the topic "Prospects for the development of innovative technologies in the production of inorganic substances and materials in the conditions of globalization" the opening ceremony of the scientific and technical conference was held.

On the occasion of the 111th anniversary of the birth of academician M.N. Nabiyev and the 85th anniversary of the establishment of the department, by the decision of the Council of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology No. 9 of April 29, 2024, the department of "Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances" of the Faculty of "Chemical Materials Technology" was established in Uzbekistan. Honored science and technology figure, laureate of the A.R.Beruniy State Award, academician M.N. Nabiyev was named.

Today, May 23, "Prospects for the development of innovative technologies in the production of inorganic substances and materials in the conditions of globalization" dedicated to the 111th anniversary of the doctor of technical sciences, professor, academician Malik Nabiyevich Nabiyev, held as part of the international scientific week "Sustainable development and green economy". It was attended by the management of the institute, foreign partners, academic scientists, professors and teachers, and students under the leadership of the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich. The Rector of our institute, Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich, opened the conference with an introduction and wished success to the conference. After that, academic scientists of the field, doctor of technical sciences, professor, students of academician Malik Nabiyevich Nabiyev spoke and remembered M. Nabiyevich's contribution to science.

During the ceremony, partner universities of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, "Uzkimyosanoat" JSC, heads of organizations and representatives of international organizations congratulated the participants of the conference and wished them success in the activities of the international scientific week.

The conference was devoted to the discussion of the results of scientific research of academician Malik Nabiyevich Nabiyev's students, professors, employees of production enterprises, young scientists, and graduate students.

The goal of the international scientific and technical conference is to discuss modern innovative technologies for the production of catalysts, adsorbents, chemistry of solids, as well as new inorganic substances and materials, such as mineral, organomineral and biofertilizers, detergents.

Within the framework of the conference, lectures and workshops were organized by leading specialists and scientists from Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other countries.

During the conference, a coffee break and a break were organized, and the visitors were captured on the camera lens as a souvenir. The conference will continue its work divided into branches.
