On August 4 of this year, a meeting was held between the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology (TKTI) B.Sh.

 In accordance with paragraph 45 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-27 of February 28, 2022, the task of establishing separate engineering schools in the fields of energy and chemical industry is established.

It was agreed to study the experience of the Republic of Korea in the organization of advanced engineering schools, to widely apply the achieved achievements and advantages to the practice of Uzbekistan, to cooperate with KBRI and other research institutions. Also, KBRI President Professor LEE, DONG HUN expressed his readiness to participate in these processes as a scientific advisor.

During the meeting, the issues of establishing close cooperation between the two HEIs, conducting scientific research in the field of chemical technology, and establishing joint scientific laboratories of TKTI and KBRI were discussed.
