During the high-level visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Miziyoyev to Hungary and in order to ensure the implementation of the agreements reached at the II Rectors' Forum held in Hungary, the delegation led by the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology B.Sh. Usmanov served at Obuda University in Hungary is on a trip.
Rector of the Institute B.Sh.Usmanov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Z.A.Babakhanova, Head of International Relations Department S.S.Saidakhmadov and R.Khamdamov, Advisor to the Governor of Jizzakh Region, are accompanying the delegation.
On the first day of the visit, the members of the delegation held a meeting with the rector of Obuda University L. Kovach and the university management.
The purpose of the meeting is to attract partners to apply the Hungarian experience in the innovative technology park, which includes the mutual integration of science, education and production, which is being built in the Jizzakh region. Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Obuda University are expected to participate in these processes as the main partner higher education institutions.
During the meeting, representatives of Obuda University were given detailed information about the technology park under construction. Also, negotiations were held regarding the practical participation of the Hungarian side in this project, the issues of mutual experience exchange, the possibilities of making investments in the project, and the parties reached preliminary agreements.
It is expected that the negotiations will be continued in October this year in Tashkent.
