On March 19, 2023, within the framework of the PECA 5 international project "MEd - Master of Professional Education" on distance education, Mr. Hermann Sonneveld, the head of the ICON Institute, Maksat Abdugaparov, the coordinator of the ICON Institute, and Djakhongir Djuraevlar, the coordinator of GIZ in Uzbekistan, and Tashkent a meeting was organized by the leadership of the Institute of Chemical Technology.

At the meeting, opinions were exchanged about the distance education system in the Central Asian countries and the experience of European countries, in particular, the existing distance education system in Germany.

Also, the "Action Plan" was mutually agreed upon for the implementation of this international project.
