Today, in cooperation with the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, an open dialogue meeting with young people was organized at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology under the slogan "For Green Development" on the topic "The role of youth in environmental protection". The event was attended by the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan Abdushukur Khamzayev, Vice-Rector for Finance and Economic Affairs Kadirov Bobiromon Bekmurodovich, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Affairs Boborajabov Bahadir Nasriddinovich, O' Safarov Toyir Tursunovich, vice-rector for academic affairs, Pulatov Khairulla Lutpullayevich, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Igitov Farrukh Bakhtiyarovich, head of the "Industrial Ecology" department, and a number of active students participated.
The purpose of the event is to increase the place and role of young people in environmental protection in higher educational institutions, to unite them, to strengthen environmental promotion activities, to implement new projects, and to increase their environmental culture and knowledge.
At a time when environmental problems are increasing day by day, we are all required to take organized action with a deep sense of personal involvement in reducing the anthropogenic factors that have a negative impact on nature, increasing ecological culture and eliminating environmental problems of any kind.
A number of explanations were given at the event. At the meeting, it was emphasized that not only theoretical knowledge about mother nature, but also practical skills are important in inculcating ecological education in the minds of young people.
During the meeting, students were given a number of information in the field of ecology. Party souvenirs were given to active students. 5 students were admitted to the party on their own initiative. Young people received answers to all their questions. It was agreed to hold such events regularly in the future.
