On April 22, 2024, a delegation of scientists from the Shandong Academy of Sciences and representatives of provincial companies, led by Chen Xiwu, head of the Science and Technology Department of Jinan Province of the People's Republic of China, visited the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.

The rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology B.Sh. Usmanov, vice-rectors of the institute, heads of departments and other officials took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, the projects completed between the Shandong Academy of Sciences and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, joint work and future plans were discussed.

Also, within the framework of cooperation, it was agreed to establish joint laboratories within the "Smart Agriculture Alliance" and INNO technopark at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
