On June 12, 2024, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the officials of Giant Chemical Company and KITECH of the Republic of South Korea.

Rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations Pulatov Khairulla Lutpullayevich, Head of the Department "Technology of Silicate Materials and Rare, Rare Metals" Aripova Mastura Hikmatovna, Senior Lecturer of the Department Farrukh Erkinov, International Relations and Saidumarkhan Saidakhmadov, head of the branch, and officials of Giant Chemical Company and KITECH of the Republic of South Korea participated.

At the meeting, issues of re-acceleration of previously agreed work, establishment of cooperation in the field of scientific research, innovations and industrial technologies and organization of joint scientific projects were discussed.

Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Korean Institute of Industrial Technologies of the Republic of South Korea and Giant Chemical companies.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed in order to further strengthen bilateral relations.
