As you know, on June 1-10, the Republican Science Olympiad in the fields of "Chemistry", "Biology", "Physics" and "Informatics and Information Technologies" will be held in our Republic among undergraduate students of higher education institutions. .

Today, on June 8, the Chemistry Olympiad was held at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. The Olympiad was solemnly opened by the rector of our institution Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich. After that, vice-rector for educational affairs T.T. Safarov spoke and wished the participants good luck, and the officials introduced the procedure of conducting the Olympiad and the evaluation criteria.

In the first half of the day, the theoretical part of the Olympiad took place. Participants completed 50 test tasks. In the afternoon, they did the practical part, i.e. laboratory work.

According to the final results of the Olympics:

1st place was won by BEBITOVA KOMILA ELMUROT GIZI, student of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov;

2nd place went to KOLMATOV MUZAFFAR KHIDIRALIYEVICH, a student of Termiz State University;

The 3rd place was won by YASHNAROV GOLIBJON OBIDJON OGHLI, a student of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulug'bek.
