On November 11, 2024, the Rector of Bratislava University of Economics and Management of the Slovak Republic Prof. L'ubos Cibák and university vice-chancellor Prof. Michal Fabus visited. They were met by Z.A. Babakhanova of the Internationalization and Transformation Department, S.S. Saidakhmadov, the Head of the International Cooperation and Protocol Department, and Sh. Jalilov, the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management, under the leadership of the rector of the institute Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich.

At the meeting, the prospects and opportunities of bilateral cooperation with Bratislava University of Economics and Management of the Slovak Republic in Industrial Management, Economics and other relevant educational areas were discussed. It was also agreed to establish the exchange of students and professors based on the cooperation memorandum.

During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Bratislava University of Economics and Management.
