On February 26, 2025, the “Industry-Enterprise-University” Chain Enterprise Leaders Forum and Product (Brand) Fair were held at the Faculty of Food and Wine Technologies.
Enterprises participated in the fair with their products, and the departments of the faculty with their scientific developments and composites.
Representatives of more than 20 companies and enterprises participated in this forum and discussed issues of cooperation in scientific research, issues of organizing internships and student internships for professors and teachers, discussion of prospects for training personnel in the Dual education system in collaboration with industrial enterprises, cooperation in commercializing innovative developments of professors and teachers, young scientists, conclusion of business agreements, and signing new cooperation agreements and memorandums.
The forum was opened by Usmanov Botir Shukurillayevich, Rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
"In addition to theoretical knowledge, students will gain practical skills in enterprises and organizations, which will help them become ready-made specialists by the time they graduate from the university, receiving a diploma. In this regard, we need to further expand cooperation with enterprises, build a bridge between the university and the enterprise for students based on the principle of the "Industry-Enterprise-University" chain, said Rector B.Sh.Usmanov.
It is worth noting that the purpose of holding the "Industry-Enterprise-University" chain enterprise leaders forum is to organize systematic work on the consistent implementation of the goals and objectives of sustainable development in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 841 dated October 20, 2018 "On measures to implement national goals and objectives in the field of sustainable development for the period up to 2030", in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 11, 2023 To ensure the implementation of the Decree No. PF-158 on the Strategy "Uzbekistan-2030" of 2020, to establish training at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology based on the "Industry - Enterprise - University" chain in order to ensure the implementation of the tasks set out in the Minutes of the Videoconference of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 20, 2024, to widely celebrate the year 2025 in our Republic - 2025 as the "Year of Environmental Protection and "Green" Economy" in Uzbekistan, to develop partnerships with manufacturing enterprises, and to develop international cooperation in research in the fields of chemistry, biology, and chemical technology.
After that, the Dean of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technology, Baltabayev Ulugbek Norboyevich, provided information about the faculty, and the heads of the current departments provided information about their educational, scientific, spiritual, and international relations activities.
In particular, the Head of the Department of Enology and Wine Technology A. Boboyev, Head of the Department of Biotechnology A. Normatov, Head of the Department of Food Quality and Safety E. Sanayev, Head of the Department of Food and Perfumery and Cosmetics Technology A. Roziboyev, provided information about their educational, scientific, spiritual, and international relations activities.
During the forum, the heads and representatives of the visiting enterprises participated with their presentations and expressed their demands and suggestions.

During the forum, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Zuma Pharma LLC on cooperation in the field of personnel training.
The visiting enterprise leaders and representatives got acquainted with the educational and research laboratories of the departments of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technologies, the technopark established with the support of the "Mo'tabar" flour production enterprise, and the activities of the institute's Registrar's Office, and received detailed answers to their questions.
