The main goal of teaching academic and technical communication in Uzbek and Russian at the department is to enable students to learn the terms of their future specialty in Uzbek and Russian, to acquire the skills of oral and written communication in these languages in the areas in which they will conduct their professional activities.
The department prepares qualified personnel according to the "engineer-teacher" system, capable of performing their professional duties in vocational schools, colleges, technical schools and other educational institutions in the areas of undergraduate studies:
-60112400 - Professional education: food technology;
- 60112400 - Vocational education: chemical technology, as well as a master's degree;
- 70112401 - Theory and methodology of vocational education (food technology);
- 70112401 - Theory and methodology of vocational education (chemical technology).
Graduates - masters of this specialty can teach chemistry and special subjects, using modern pedagogical and information technologies in general education secondary, secondary specialized, vocational educational institutions, out-of-school educational institutions, higher educational institutions, industry centers for advanced training and retraining of personnel, as well as solve complex problems in the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and industry research institutes, food technology enterprises and chemical industries.
Also, the activities of the department are aimed at increasing the scientific potential of the department by improving research activities, the purpose of which is to contribute to improving the rating of the institute.
Academic and Technical Communication in Uzbek and Academic and Technical Communication in Russian are included as general education subjects for all 1st year undergraduate students.
