Master's Degree

A master's degree is a higher education that provides fundamental and practical knowledge in a specific specialty, lasting at least two years on the basis of a bachelor's degree. They accept persons who have completed bachelor's (first cycle) or comprehensive (bachelor and master's) studies and meet other requirements set by the Higher Education Institution. The volume of educational programs is 120 credits, the duration of full-time studies is 2 years. Graduation ends with the defense of a master's dissertation, graduates are awarded a completed higher education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a master's degree, which entitles them to engage in professional activity and/or continue research studies at the doctoral level (third cycle). Master's degree programs

A master's degree is a second-level education, which is offered to people who have a first-level (bachelor's) or part-time education certificate in their special or integrated studies. In 2022, the university will accept 20 programs of second (master's) education.

Acceptance conditions

Internationally recognized foreign language proficiency certificate (at least 72 on TOEFL or at least 5.5 on IELTS, TestDaF (TDN3), at least B2 on CEFR) or the State Test Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan 50 foreign language points will be assigned to those who present a B2 or C1 level certificate of foreign language proficiency and will not participate in the foreign language entrance exam.

2022 1. Admission to the master's program of state higher education institutions is carried out on the basis of the average score of the applicant's undergraduate diploma and the score of the relevant national or international certificate on the level of knowledge of a foreign language, strictly observing the sequence of scores and no additional examination will be held;

2. An applicant with a higher average score of the undergraduate diploma has a higher chance of admission to the master's program at TKTI.

Pursuant to PQ-198 dated 07.04.2022, it is established that scholarships will be paid by the 5th of each month. Therefore, on the first working day of every month, the list of students who have paid at least 50% for the first semester of the academic year and 100% for the second semester of the scholarship contract will be given to the faculties. On the basis of this list, responsible employees issue orders to award scholarships to students who have paid the appropriate part of the scholarship contract amount. Based on these orders, scholarships are paid to students for one semester.

According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 59 dated 31.01.2020, the base amount of the scholarship is 20% for students with an "excellent" grade (rating indicator - 86 points and above) in all subjects it is determined that the stipend will be paid with an increase. This procedure is assigned and paid together with the scholarship assignment orders for the new semester to students studying on the basis of a state grant. Students studying under a contract, with or without a scholarship, will receive a stipend increased by 20% after paying the corresponding part of the contract by semester (at least 50% for the first semester, 100% for the second semester of the academic year).

Pursuant to PQ-198 dated 07.04.2022, it is established that scholarships will be paid by the 5th of each month. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 59 of 31.01.2020, orders are issued to award scholarships to students studying on the basis of state grants based on their mastery grades. Based on these orders, scholarships are paid to students for one semester.

In accordance with the Regulation on the procedure for admission to master's degrees in higher education institutions, in the case of approval of target admission quotas for certain master's specialties in the regions, as well as in the personnel orderers' section, the competition will be held in each region, as well as in the personnel orderers (higher educational institution) is held separately. Applicants who are not recommended to the student ranks without being able to collect enough points in the targeted admission competition will participate in the general competition with their points. It is not allowed to transfer the studies of students studying at the master's degree of foreign higher education institutions to the master's degree of the higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the current regulations, bachelors and masters of higher education institutions who studied on the basis of state grants in all fields of education are allocated to educational institutions on the condition that they work for at least three years. In the event that graduates of higher education institutions who completed the bachelor's degree on the basis of state grants are admitted to the master's degree on a fee-contract basis, the obligation to work for at least three years is carried out after completing the master's degree.

According to the current legislation, foreign citizens submit an online application to the chosen Higher Education Institution of Uzbekistan and are admitted to study according to the results of an interview conducted by the Higher Education Institution. In accordance with the Regulation on the procedure for admission to master's degree in higher education institutions, winners of state scholarships and named state scholarships of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, winners of State awards named after Zulfiya, as well as winners of the state award "Brave Boy" students of higher educational institutions and young people with a bachelor's degree are admitted to the master's degree of higher educational institutions on the basis of special state grants, except for the competition, for the field of study of the bachelor's degree and related specialties.

According to the "Regulation on the procedure for targeted training of personnel on the basis of state grants", if the graduate studied at bachelor's and master's degrees of higher education institutions on the basis of state grants, his obligation to work is considered to be at least three years.
