The Academic Activities Management Department, studying the experience of foreign universities with a developed educational process, developed and approved state educational standards, curricula and work curricula, taking into account the modern requirements of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is responsible for organizing training based on standard and work programs
The department of educational activity management organizes the educational process in accordance with the approved state educational standards, working curricula and standard curricula, draws up class schedules on their basis and ensures their full implementation by all faculties and departments
The Department of Academic Affairs Organization operates in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education,” Presidential Decree No. PF–5847 (dated October 8, 2019) “On Approval of the Concept for the Development of the Higher Education System until 2030,” and the orders of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation. The department ensures their implementation at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
The department carries out its activities based on the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law “On Education,” decisions of the Oliy Majlis, decrees and resolutions of the President, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the orders and decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, as well as the Institute’s Charter and Rector’s orders.
The Department of Academic Affairs Organization is a structural unit of the institute responsible for implementing higher education programs at the bachelor’s and master’s levels.
Main Objective:
To plan, organize, and manage the educational process; to improve educational activities; and to enhance the quality and effectiveness of education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage academic programs in accordance with professional and state education standards;
- Develop curricula and academic calendars, and coordinate the teaching process among faculties, departments, and centers;
- Introduce innovative and pedagogical technologies into the learning process;
- Ensure training of highly qualified specialists based on modern and international standards;
- Monitor compliance with professional and state standards during the preparation of teaching documentation;
- Conduct systematic monitoring of educational performance;
- Analyze and evaluate the teaching quality and professional skills of faculty members;
- Coordinate student assessment and knowledge control systems;
- Maintain the student database in cooperation with the Registrar’s Office;
- Oversee the creation and regular updating of new-generation textbooks and materials;
- Provide methodological assistance to faculties and departments.
