Press Secretary

The Information Service (Press Service) of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology is a structural division under the institute’s rectorate. Its main task is to ensure the transparency of the institute’s activities, provide the public with prompt and impartial information, and enhance the institute’s social reputation.

The department carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law “On the Openness of Activities of State Authorities and Administration,” presidential decrees, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, orders of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, and the institute’s Charter.

The Information Service cooperates with all faculties, departments, divisions, and centers of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and operates under the coordination of the Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, directly reporting to the Rector.

The main purpose of the department is to promptly, reliably, and professionally deliver to the public the latest news related to the institute’s activities, educational process, scientific research, international cooperation, innovative developments, and socio-spiritual life.

The Information Service aims to build the institute’s brand, strengthen its positive image, implement the principles of openness and transparency, and establish modern information and communication practices.

The department’s activities are carried out in the following main areas:

• Formation and implementation of information policy: developing and implementing the information policy set by the institute’s administration, ensuring that all informational materials are unified in style and content.

• Cooperation with mass media: establishing systematic relations with national and international media, publishing press releases, articles, interviews, news, and analytical materials related to the institute’s activities, as well as organizing press conferences, briefings, and roundtable discussions for journalists.

• Management of the official website and social networks: regularly updating the institute’s official website and social media pages, enriching content, and providing users with relevant, reliable, and easily accessible information.

• Information monitoring and analysis: studying public opinion related to the institute’s activities, analyzing media publications, assessing the effectiveness of information flows, and providing relevant data to the administration.

• Production of media materials: creating, editing, storing, and archiving photo and video materials related to institute events, academic processes, and scientific conferences, as well as promoting them through media and digital platforms.

• Information security and legal matters: ensuring compliance with personal data protection and copyright laws during information dissemination, and preventing the spread of false or unfounded information.

• Crisis communication: providing timely and accurate information about the institute’s position during emergencies and informing the public through reliable sources.

In addition, the Information Service produces media projects, videos, interviews, and press materials that promote the institute’s scientific, educational, and spiritual-educational activities to the wider public.

Within its scope of work, the service manages the institute’s branded social media pages, sharing up-to-date information about student life, educational processes, achievements, grants, competitions, and international cooperation.

The Information Service plays an important role in strengthening the institute’s image, promoting transparency, building trustworthy communication with the public, and increasing the activity of students and staff. Relying on modern information and communication technologies, the department acts as a leading information center in disseminating the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology’s best practices, scientific potential, and innovative ideas to the public
