Based on the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in order to solve environmental problems and support sustainable development in higher educational institutions, the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology is organizing the “EKO-Start Up” competition within the framework of the “Eco-innovation – 2025” program.
This competition aims to encourage projects aimed at developing innovative solutions to environmental problems, and to realize the creative potential of young scientists and students.
The main goal of the competition: to identify and support new technological solutions and innovative projects that contribute to ensuring ecological sustainability, environmental protection and combating climate change in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The competition is focused on topical issues in the field of chemistry, technology and engineering, and provides participants with the opportunity to test their ideas in practice.
Competition Terms
Participants: TKTI bachelor's and master's students, young scientists, and start-up teams.
Project areas: Innovative projects aimed at solving environmental problems, including:
Waste processing and utilization technologies;
Clean energy and energy-saving solutions;
Water resources management and treatment systems;
Sustainable technologies based on chemical and biological processes.
Project presentation: Projects must be scientifically sound, practical and economically effective.
Competition procedure
Deadline for accepting projects: September 18, 2025, until 00:00.
Project presentation: September 19, 2025, at 14:00 in the International Department Hall of theTashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
Jury: Projects will be evaluated by a commission consisting of experts and industry representatives. (Projects must be innovative, practical, have an ecological impact and be economically viable.)
