🎊🎊Targeted competition for sending young scientists in the field of pharmaceuticals and biologically active substances to foreign organizations for short-term scientific internships

Purpose of scientific internship: to obtain, study and synthesize new drugs, biologically active substances, compounds for the treatment of diseases, and to develop technologies for obtaining new type of dosage forms.

The Agency for Innovative Development (Agency) announces a targeted competition to send young scientists in the pharmaceutical sector to foreign organizations for short-term scientific internships (internships) in order to ensure the implementation of the “Roadmap for the development of the pharmaceutical industry and acceleration of the implementation of investment projects in 2024-2025”, approved by Appendix 1 to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-14 dated January 10, 2024, and the relevant paragraphs of the Minutes of the Presidium Meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 136 dated December 10, 2024 “On measures for the effective and efficient organization of the implementation of the Action Program of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the near and long term”.
✅The targeted competition is organized in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation "On the Procedure for Sending Young Scientists for Short-Term Scientific Internships to Leading Foreign Scientific Organizations" (Regulation), approved by Resolution No. 222 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 19, 2021, and the Memorandum of Understanding concluded with the University of Debrecen, Hungary.
In this case, 20 young scientists will be selected for internships, and the winners of the competition will be sent to the University of Debrecen in Hungary for an internship period of 30 working days in 2025 to fulfill the tasks specified in the internship program provided in Appendix 1 to the announcement. Accordingly, higher education institutions and scientific organizations (customers) may submit information (documents) about candidates recommended for internships (if necessary) to the Agency in accordance with the procedure established in accordance with Appendix 2 to the announcement by March 5, 2025 (also accepted on this date).
‼️ Information (documents) about candidates will be formalized and summarized by customers in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations and submitted to the Agency through the unified electronic system for organizing foreign scientific internships “internship.ilmiy.uz”. The head of the customer is responsible for ensuring the impartiality of the candidate recommendation process and the completeness and accuracy of the information (documents) provided, as well as the participation of the recommended candidates in the selection competitions.
