State grants announced for young compatriots living abroad

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. F-43 dated July 18, 2025 “On approval of the parameters of the state order for admission to state higher educational institutions”, 30 state grants have been allocated for young compatriots living abroad.

Grants are provided in the following areas:Uzbek language and literature,history,culture,arts and crafts.

The following requirements are established for participation in the competitions:

based on documents confirming their identity, they or their parents or grandparents:

be a foreign citizen or a stateless person who identifies themselves as Uzbek or Karakalpak from an ethnic, linguistic and cultural-historical point of view;

Be a foreign citizen or stateless person born and residing in Uzbekistan, but currently permanently residing abroad;

Be registered as an applicant for one of the above-mentioned undergraduate education programs as a foreign citizen and recommended for admission based on the results of the interview;

Be under 30 years old;

Must know the Uzbek language.

Applications from applicants for these state grants will be accepted until October 10, 2025.
