The Faculty of Chemical Engineering held the “Young Chemists Competition” - Chemistry Olympiad in order to identify the abilities of students in secondary and secondary specialized educational institutions, increase their passion for chemistry and intellectual abilities, form healthy competition, involve them in scientific research and creative activities, as well as identify talented young people, and ensure close cooperation between academic students in the field of training highly qualified personnel in secondary education, lyceums, higher educational institutions, research institutions and industrial enterprises.
At the opening ceremony, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor T.T. Safarov made an introductory speech and expressed his gratitude to all participants and partner organizations.
The head of the department of "Chemistry", Doctor of Philosophy in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor A.A. Nabiyev, spoke in detail to the participants about the rules of the Olympiad, the task and the time allocated for completing the laboratory work.
“Young Chemists Competition” - Chemistry Olympiad Processes 46 students participated. During the break, the history of the institute, directions, and exam procedures were explained to the participants of the “Young Chemists Competition” - Chemistry Olympiad.
“Young Chemists Competition” – At the end of the Chemistry Olympiad, the winners of the Olympiad were awarded with diplomas and prizes:
1st place - Akhmadov Islamjon Bakhtiyorovich (School No. 239, Yunusobod district, Tashkent city)
2nd place - Kayumov Nig'matjon Jamshid oglu (School No. 30, Yashnobod district, Tashkent city)
3rd place - Umarova Nozima Khamza kizi (Tashkent TKTI Academic Lyceum)
