In accordance with the letter of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change No. 04-03/1-03/6-3536 dated April 14, 2025, it is planned to celebrate “International Earth Day” in our republic on April 22, 2025 in the organizations of the ministerial system, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the departments of higher education, science and innovation of the regions and the city of Tashkent, higher educational institutions.

A round table discussion dedicated to “International Earth Day” was also held at the Department of “Industrial Ecology” of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology on April 22, 2025. The event was attended by professors and teachers of the Department of “Industrial Ecology” and students of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection. At the event, the head of the department, F.B. Igitov, spoke and provided information about the presentation of information aimed at preserving the Earth to the general public and the international eco-dictation, essay, and essay competition.

Niyazova M.M., Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Ecology, spoke at the event dedicated to "International Earth Day" and emphasized to the students that the UN raised the issue of land issues at its 63rd session in 1970 and that world leaders were involved in this.
