Dear Institute staff and dear students!
The fight against corruption is one of the most pressing issues in the world today. Today, a number of programs have been adopted in our country as part of the fight against corruption, and extensive work is being carried out on them.
In particular, the fight against corruption is also defined as a separate goal in the "Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy. For example, Goal 89 sets the tasks of eliminating corruption factors and forming an uncompromising attitude towards corruption in society.
Today, digital technologies have become the most effective tool for combating corruption. Digital technologies serve to reduce and prevent corruption and provide public services in a transparent manner.
As an effective tool for combating corruption in the education system, the "Higher Education Management Information Systems" (HEMIS) was developed and put into practice within the framework of the "Digital University" project.
This information system performs the functions of automating the administrative, academic, scientific and financial activities of higher education institutions, organizing, monitoring and managing educational processes, organizing distance learning online educational services, and exchanging information with the ministerial information system. This prevents negative situations such as bribery or various types of acquaintances.
The harm of corruption in the education sector is very great. It reduces the level of education, causes the formation of uneducated and inexperienced personnel. It also destroys trust in public administration among young people. That is why we all need to fight corruption together.
Dear teachers and students!
Do not tarnish the reputation of the institute, do not engage in greed, fraud and illegal behavior, but rather, prioritize the interests of the state and society, participate in the “Corruption-Free Sector” movement in higher education, refrain from other actions that may damage your reputation and that of your workplace, and do not violate executive discipline. After all, if we all feel equal responsibility in the fight against corruption, mature and educated personnel will grow up in the future and they will make a worthy contribution to the prosperity of the state.
The future of our country depends on your honesty and responsible work!
Sincerely,
B. Usmanov, Rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology
