"National Heritage Day" was held on the Alley of Writers

On May 14, 2025, the "National Heritage Day" was held on the Alley of Writers in Tashkent as part of the "Literary and Educational Weeks".

Under the leadership of the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Usmonov Botir Shukurillayevich, the institute's professors, teachers, employees, and students actively participated in this event.

The event began with the opening speech of the rector of the institute B.Sh. Usmonov. In his speech, the rector noted that the role of the spiritual and educational events organized within the framework of this week in strengthening respect and attention to our national values ​​among young people is incomparable. He also touched upon the importance of the Alley of Writers in promoting the fields of literature, culture, and art.

During the festival, the participants were presented with a rich and meaningful program.

Through the intellectual game "Zakovat", students tested their knowledge and thinking skills. This competition served to identify and encourage talented young people.

The performance of national dances added a cheerful mood to the event. Through their dances performed to the sounds of national music, the students demonstrated the rich cultural heritage of our people.

During the poetry reading, the participants recited poems written in the national spirit and expressed their love for literature.

Various quizzes and karaoke competitions were aimed at developing the creative and memorizing abilities of young people. In particular, the singing of national songs in the karaoke section warmed the hearts of the participants and spectators.

National sports games were organized with special attention.

Among them:

Competitions requiring physical strength such as tug-of-war and stone lifting,

Folk games such as varrak throwing (varrak sayli), qarab tep, beshtash and chillaki, which remind us of childhood memories,

Wrestling competitions that are an expression of national pride,

Also, sports such as badminton, chess and checkers were held.

The exhibition of national costumes organized as part of the event aroused great interest among the audience. It displayed traditional costumes typical of different regions of our country, and the national dress culture was widely covered.

This “National Values ​​​​Day” served to strengthen the feelings of self-awareness and respect for our rich history and culture in the hearts of students and young people. The event left a deep impression on everyone with its content, diversity and cultural richness.
