A parents' congress was held under the slogan "Be a student for a day"

A parents' congress was organized under the slogan "Be a student for a day" at the Faculty of Oil and Gas Technologies of the Tashkent Chemical and Technological Institute.

The event was attended by the Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the Faculty N.Sh. Zulyarova, Head of the Department of Chemical Technology of Oil and Gas Processing Sh.Sh. Mengliyev, Associate Professor of the Department of Organic Synthesis Technology B. Kholiqulov, professors and teachers, and faculty tutors.

During the meeting, an open dialogue was organized with parents, and information was provided on the educational processes at the faculty, the created conditions, and the active participation of students in the educational process.

The Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the Faculty N.Sh. Zulyarova made proposals to further strengthen cooperation between the educational institution and parents and bring it to a new level. He also spoke in detail about the opportunities created for the education of young people in our country.

During the event, the head of the Department of Chemical Technology of Oil and Gas Processing, Sh.Sh. Mengliyev, spoke and provided extensive information about the research work being carried out at the department, the practical processes of students and the established cooperation with manufacturing enterprises. In his speech, he emphasized the effective work being carried out to train specialists who have not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills.

Also, Associate Professor of the Department of Organic Synthesis Technology B. Kholiqulov provided parents with detailed explanations on the content and essence of the following resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

Resolution No. 824 dated December 31, 2020,

Resolution No. 393 dated June 20, 2017,

Resolution No. 149 dated March 10, 2025 (Regulations on the procedure for providing and redistributing grants to students).

During the congress, parents witnessed firsthand the activities of the institute, educational processes, modern conditions created for students, working with outstanding chemists, and the work being carried out in the teacher-student system.

At the end of the meeting, Gulshanoy Umarova was appointed as the chairman of the parents' council.

At the end of the parents' congress under the slogan "Be a student for a day" held at the Faculty of Oil and Gas Technologies of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the parents of students who showed exemplary behavior and good behavior.

This initiative was implemented to appreciate the contribution of parents to the education of their children, to recognize the achievements of students and to further encourage them.

At the end of the event, parents expressed sincere gratitude to the administration and professors of the institute and expressed confidence that cooperation will be further strengthened in the future.

A coffee break was also organized for parents at the end of the event.
