The first academic conference of Turkic states began in Budapest
On July 25, 2025, an important event aimed at developing the scientific and academic sphere of cooperation between Turkic states - the "First Academic Conference of Turkic States" - began its work in the Hungarian capital of Budapest.
This conference was organized to strengthen ties between Turkic-speaking states in the fields of higher education, science and innovation, deepen academic integration, implement joint scientific projects and establish an exchange of experience between young scientists.
The conference is attended by the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Usmonov Botir Shukurillayevich, and the head of the International Rating, Accreditation and Transformation Department, Sheraliyev Shokhzod, on behalf of our institute.
The event is attended by ambassadors of Kazakhstan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Hungary, rectors of higher education institutions and representatives of scientific circles. They are discussing new stages of scientific cooperation through various sessions, reports and panel discussions.
On the first day of the conference, along with political ministers and ambassadors, the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology also participated with his speech. In his speech, he spoke about the scientific and innovative innovations being carried out at the institute, as well as the “InnoTechnopark” being created in Jizzakh in collaboration with the Hungarian Obuda University.
The main areas of the conference are:
Establishment of academic exchange programs;
Development of joint research projects between Turkic countries;
Strengthening digital transformation processes in higher education;
Cooperation on the basis of scientific grants and scholarships;
Creating new opportunities for students and researchers.
This conference will serve to further strengthen friendly relations and strategic cooperation between Turkic countries in the fields of science and education.
Representatives of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology are also planning to make presentations at this conference on the potential of the institute, international ratings, scientific and innovative projects, and foreign cooperation experiences.
