Let's protect our youth from drug addiction

Today, the upbringing of young people, who are the future of our society, and their healthy lifestyle, is one of the top priorities.

For this purpose, on December 1, 2025, on the initiative of senior teachers of the "Languages" department L.A. Baymuhamedova and N.T. Abdulhakimova, an event was organized on the theme "Let's protect our youth from drug addiction" on the occasion of the International Day against AIDS.

During the event, detailed information was provided to young people about the dangerous consequences of drug addiction, the harm it causes to human health and the development of society.

TKTI doctor N.A. Khojakbarova participated with her report and explained the types of drugs, their psychological and physical effects, and the stages of development of harmful habits.

The event was held on December 1 at 1:00 p.m. in auditorium 1/302 at A.Navoi-32.

Also, during the event, special attention was paid to the following issues:

promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people;

involving them in sports and cultural and spiritual activities;

strengthening immunity against false information and foreign ideas spread via the Internet;

explaining the mechanisms for providing psychological support to young people in problematic situations.

It was emphasized that we should all unite in the fight against drug addiction and further strengthen work in this area in the family and educational institutions.

At the end of the event, special booklets, recommendations, and materials on a healthy lifestyle were distributed for young people.

These initiatives serve to form a sense of firm intolerance towards harmful habits in the minds of young people and direct them towards noble goals.
