Students living in rented apartments were given a campaign on "Safe use of gas"

On December 16 of this year, the Department of Civil and Labor Protection of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, in collaboration with representatives of the territorial division of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, held a campaign on the safe use of gas for students living in rented apartments.

During the event, students were given practical advice on the correct use of gas appliances at home, what to do in case of a gas leak or fire hazard, as well as on quick and safe evacuation in emergency situations. Students were also explained the main risk factors in the use of gas, methods for their prevention, and the procedure for contacting emergency services.

Participants of the event asked their questions about the importance of observing safety rules and the responsibility to protect their lives, and received practical recommendations from experts. At the same time, each participant was introduced to the instructions for regular inspection of gas appliances and their proper use.

Such promotional events organized by the institute are aimed at increasing the safety culture among students, as well as protecting the lives and health of students living in rented accommodation.
