A meeting was held between the leadership of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and representatives of the Open Cyber ​​University of Korea.

On April 17, 2025, Ji-in Kim, Vice President for Planning of the Open Cyber ​​University of Korea, Yoo-shin Im, Head of the Digital Convergence Management Department, Young-whan Sung, Professor of the Department of Beauty Health Design, Svetlana Kim, Professor of the Department of AI Convergence and Engineering, and Daeyup Yoo, Director of the Department of External Relations, visited the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. A meeting was held between the leadership of the institute as part of the visit.

The meeting was attended by the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology B.Sh.Usmonov, acting vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations Anvar Shernayev, head of the Internationalization and Transformation Department Babakhanova Zebo, head of the International Cooperation and Protocol Department Saidahmadov Saidumarkhon, professor of the Department of Food and Perfumery and Cosmetics Technology Rano Akramova, and head of the Doctoral and Research Department Azizbek Kamolov. At the meeting with the delegation of Open Cyber ​​University of Korea, the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Botir Shukurillaevich Usmonov provided information about the research and educational activities of the institute, as well as the level of cooperation with the industry and enterprises of Uzbekistan. Also discussed were the possibilities of establishing a beauty and health education center, faculty exchange and appointment of advisory faculty between the two institutions, sharing free ICT online course content for academic use and credit recognition, and offering OCU scholarships to TKTI faculty and staff for advanced training in Korea.
