“Fighting against ignorance - enlightenment”

In order to form spiritual immunity in the minds of young people and educate them in the spirit of national and universal values, another meeting was organized at the Tashkent Institute of Chemistry and Technology on the topics “Fighting against ignorance - enlightenment” and “The priority of human dignity and rights is the foundation of development”.

The event was attended by B.N. Boborajabov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs, A.R. Erkayev, Advisor to the Rector responsible for ensuring the stability of the socio-spiritual environment among students, Sh. Jumayev, specialist of the Committee for Religious Affairs, professors, teachers, and students.

During the meeting, the importance of enriching the spiritual worldview of young people, glorifying human dignity and rights, and combating ignorance through education was discussed in detail. The speakers emphasized that educating young people as people with a thirst for knowledge, broad-mindedness, and independent thinking is one of the most urgent tasks of today.

Experts explained the negative consequences of extremist ideas, the need to fight various misinformation circulating on social networks with critical thinking and an enlightened approach through examples.

The event highlighted the importance of factors such as reading, sports, and participation in social projects in shaping young people's outlook on life.

The real-life examples, historical and modern evidence provided by the speakers made a great impression on the students.

At the end of the event, students asked questions that interested them and received detailed answers from the officials. The participants of the meeting further strengthened the spirit of striving for knowledge and enlightenment, glorifying human dignity, and taking a responsible approach to contributing to the prosperity of the country.
