On November 27, 2024, a spiritual and educational campaign event on the topic "Against Ignorance - Enlightenment" was held at the Faculty of "Industrial Engineering and Management" of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. The press secretary of the Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs, Advisor on Information Policy Ilhom Marupov participated in the event as a guest.

The event was actively attended by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Bakhodir Nasriddinovich Boborajabov, Head of the Department of Youth Work, Spirituality and Education R.T. G'oziyev, Deputy Dean for Youth Work of the Faculty of "Industrial Engineering and Management" B.Sh. Poyanov, and students.

During the meeting, the topic of educating young people, which is one of the most relevant topics for society, was discussed. The issue of protection from foreign ideas was discussed. In particular, the importance of eliminating the risk of falling under the influence of various extremist groups, preserving national and spiritual values, and educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism was emphasized. At the same time, the important role of higher education institutions in this process was especially recognized.

During the event, students and young people expressed their opinions on the topic and actively participated. Ilhom Marupov answered the students' questions in detail. In his speech, Ilhom Marupov noted the importance of enlightenment and knowledge in modern society and emphasized the priority of knowledge and a conscious approach in protecting young people from foreign ideas.
