On May 14-15, 2023, meetings were held with the heads of universities at Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Gas, Azerbaijan State University of Economics and Baku Higher Oil School. The meetings were organized by Ruslanbey Imamzoda, the head of the representative office of Azerbaijan coordinating entrepreneurs and educational institutions in Uzbekistan. At the meeting, agreements were made on the training of personnel in the fields of food, oil and gas, ecology, as well as student exchange, organization of joint training programs, organization of foreign internships of professors of oil and gas departments. A memorandum of understanding was signed with the Azerbaijan Oil and Gas University on the organization of joint training programs in the preparation of masters in the field of 1+1 master's degree and cooperation in the fields of scientific research.

It was agreed to organize joint training programs with the Baku Higher Oil School in English in the form of 2+2 and 1+1 training.

It was agreed to carry out scientific research works in cooperation in the field of oil and gas processing, and Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Eldar Uglu Kasimov, Professor of Azerbaijan University of Economics Ilkhamakhonim Zarbaliyeva announced that they will participate in the Yashil Kime scientific week, which will be held in at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology on May 24-28. 5 colleagues from HEIs in Baku, Azerbaijan expressed their desire to participate in the scientific week.
