As previously reported, the conditions of students living in student dormitories and rented apartments are being analyzed by faculties based on the “Schedule of Study on the Living Conditions of Students Living in Rented Apartments, the State of Preparation for the Autumn-Winter Season, and the Meaningful Spending of Students' Free Time in Student Dormitories, the Proper Use of Existing Technical Equipment, and the Work Carried Out in the Spiritual and Educational Direction” approved by the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology on November 11, 2024. It is worth noting that the working group of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology is constantly focusing on ensuring the safety of students and preventing accidents, fires, and other emergencies as part of preparations for the autumn-winter season. In particular, on November 26, members of the working group, Head of the Student Housing Department Z.N. Jurakulov, Department employee A.A. Doniyorov, Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technologies Sh.E. Begmatov, Registrar's Office employee T.Sh. Usmanov, and tutors, went to the places and comprehensively inspected the living conditions of students living in rented apartments.
During the event, detailed explanatory work was carried out with students on issues such as fire safety, norms and rules for the use of electrical appliances, the dangers of improvised and non-standard heating devices, and prevention of carbon monoxide poisoning. At the same time, they were warned about the improper use of gas suction devices in the home, the dangers of connecting gas through improvised hoses, and the consequences of placing flammable materials close to a fire source.
The event provided important recommendations on emergency situations that may arise during the fall-winter season, and special attention was paid to taking practical measures to ensure the safety of students. Such events are important in protecting the lives and health of students, as well as in creating safe living conditions.
