“We will turn the neighborhood into a waste-free zone” — an ecological campaign at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology

On December 13, 2025, an ecological campaign and promotional events were organized at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology under the slogan “We will turn the neighborhood into a waste-free zone”.

The event was attended by professors and teachers of the institute’s “Industrial Ecology and ‘Green’ Technologies” department, active students and youth, and eco-volunteers.

During the ecological campaign, household waste accumulated in the neighborhoods adjacent to the institute was collected and taken to designated waste disposal sites, and dry branches and twigs were cleaned. Also, public awareness activities were carried out among the population on environmental protection, proper waste management, and keeping the territories clean.

This campaign served to ensure environmental cleanliness, form an ecological culture in the minds of young people, and strengthen environmental responsibility in society.
