On February 25, 2025, the Ministry of Digital Technologies and the "Directorate of the Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies" LLC held a forum "Developing the startup ecosystem of our country in cooperation with higher educational institutions."

The forum was attended by the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Usmonov Botir Shukurillayevich, head of the Department of Doctoral Studies and Scientific Research A.B. Kamolov, leader of the Youth Academy of the institute Mavlonboyev Samandar, leaders of the Youth Academy of the faculty, and students.

The event brought together universities, participants of the startup ecosystem, investors, and representatives of the corporate sector. The forum was aimed at transforming universities into centers of innovation and entrepreneurship, attracting students to startup activities, developing incubation and acceleration programs, and strengthening cooperation between participants of the startup ecosystem.

The forum began with the organization of the Startup Alley. Various innovative ideas and projects of students were presented at this platform. Students participated with their startups, technological solutions and business ideas and had the opportunity to receive recommendations from investors and experts. Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov talked with young startups in the alley organized for startups and gave recommendations for further development of the startup ecosystem.

This was followed by the official opening ceremony of the forum. At it, Minister Sh. Shermatov spoke and touched upon the importance of cooperation between universities and the startup ecosystem. He made proposals for preparing students for entrepreneurship, developing incubation and acceleration programs, and strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors.
