“Maker Faire” is an international festival that unites inventors, engineers, artists and researchers, combining creativity and technology, and was first organized in San Francisco in 2006. During the festival, interactive master classes, experience exchanges and projects were presented in the fields of robotics, 3D printing, programming, art and science.
Students of the Department of “Chemical Technology of Oil and Gas Processing” of TKTI actively participated in the “Eco-city” project, demonstrating their scientific developments on reducing harmful emissions into the atmosphere and ensuring sustainable development through the effective use of solar, wind and biogas energy.
As part of the project, a mini-model of the concept of SWEEBGO - an environmentally friendly, sustainable and livable “city of the future” was presented. This idea is aimed at rational use of resources, creating a clean environment and improving the quality of life.
The festival brought together Uzbek and foreign scientists, engineers, programmers, designers and creators, creating a wide opportunity for the exchange of innovative ideas, gaining new knowledge and experience.
