A cooperation agreement was signed between the National Bank and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology within the framework of the “Step into the Future” program
On March 20, 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation with the participation of rectors of higher education institutions of the Tashkent region and Tashkent city. Cooperation agreements were signed between 40 higher education institutions of the city of Tashkent and 9 higher education institutions of the Tashkent region.
Within the framework of this cooperation agreement, the “Step into the Future” program is being implemented in order to ensure youth employment and strengthen the integration of graduates of higher education institutions into the labor market. The “Step into the Future” center of the National Bank of Uzbekistan will assist university graduates in finding employment, help them develop business skills to implement their business ideas, and provide financial support.
As part of the cooperation, regional branches of the “Step into the Future” center will be established in universities. These departments will identify graduating students who want to implement their business ideas, organize training courses to develop business skills. They will also be given advice on drawing up business plans and preparing a package of credit documents in various fields, and financing of students' finished projects will be carried out.
The center, with the involvement of employers, will hold open competitions among graduating students in various fields and develop individual vocational training programs for the winners of the competition. In addition, the practice of identifying the needs of employers, including large enterprises, for specialists with higher education and formulating requirements for specialists will be established. It is also envisaged to organize internships for students at production facilities and, if necessary, to ensure their participation in short-term courses at higher educational institutions abroad.
Currently, the number of higher education institutions that have concluded cooperation agreements with the National Bank has reached 95, of which 7 are located in Andijan region, 9 in Fergana region, 10 in Samarkand region, 9 in Tashkent region, and 50 in Tashkent city.
