A spiritual and educational event was held at the Abdulla Qodiriy House-Museum under the slogan "Reading is the path to thought and development."

In order to make the summer vacation of young people meaningful, as part of the "Dolzarb 90-day" project, a spiritual and educational event was organized at the Abdulla Qodiriy House-Museum with the participation of the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Technology N.Sh.Zulyarova, faculty tutors E.I. Majidov, X.S.Atajonov, U.K.Erkhonov, and students.

Before the event, the museum director Khondamir Qodiriy gave the participants interesting information about the writer's life path, creative heritage, and exhibits in the museum, and organized an excursion. The books, photographs, and publications in each room of the museum attracted the attention of the students. Also, the statue of Abdulla Qodiriy, created by sculptor Bahrom Norboyev in the courtyard, aroused great interest.

The main part of the event continued with a discussion and debate based on the works of Abdulla Qodiriy. Students exchanged lively opinions about the writer's work, the progressive ideas in his novels, and their relevance for today.

As part of the event, a meaningful round table discussion was held with the participation of the Director of the Shaykhontohur District Information and Library Center, U.Kh. Shomirzayev, and the Head of the Subscription and User Services Department, N. Azizova.

Experts expressed extensive opinions on the incomparable role of book reading in personal development, its special importance in enriching thinking, as well as the role of fiction in raising the spirituality of youth. During the conversation, students' questions and answers, proposals and initiatives for the development of reading culture were also listened to, and future plans for their implementation were determined.

At the end of the event, the winners of the debate were awarded with souvenirs. After that, the students had the opportunity to get acquainted in more depth with the valuable exhibits in the museum, historical publications, and interesting information about the life and work of the writer Abdulla Qodiriy. The students enjoyed the legacy of the great writer and returned with rich impressions and new knowledge.
