Short-term seminar-training sessions were held at the faculties of the institute for 1st-year undergraduate students on the issues of providing and redistributing educational grants in higher education.
Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 149 dated March 10, 2025 “On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for providing and redistributing grants to students in higher education institutions” and its appendix - short-term seminar-training sessions were held at the faculties of the institute to convey the essence of the Regulation on the procedure for providing and redistributing grants to students in higher education institutions to 1st-year undergraduate students.
The seminar-training sessions were attended by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs T. Safarov, the Chief Specialist of the Registrar's Office J. Qayumov, and the Dean of the Faculty Sh. B. Bukhorov as speakers. Students and tutors actively participated in the seminar-training sessions held in the lecture halls of each faculty building of the Institute. The seminar provided participants with detailed information about the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 149 dated March 10, 2025 “On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for providing and redistributing grants to students in higher education institutions” and its annex - the Regulation on the procedure for providing and redistributing grants to students in higher education institutions.
During the seminar, which took the form of a practical and interactive dialogue, the speakers discussed the fact that, in accordance with the Resolution, a differentiated redistribution of state grant quotas has been introduced in universities, and that now socially active students studying in the second and higher years with a high achievement rate will be provided with an education grant in full and incomplete forms.
The audience actively participated in the seminar-trainings on the above issues with their feedback and questions and answers. During the event, the audience received clear answers from the speakers to many questions they had regarding the allocation of additional grants to students from high-achieving social groups.
