A new step towards the integration of the educational process and production
8 students from the 4th year of the Department of “Functional Products Technology” of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technologies of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology were hired at the “Promet” sausage production enterprise to undergo production practice and start their work based on the dual education system.
In order to study the activities of students and scientifically analyze the process, the dean of the faculty, Prof. A. Normatov, head of the department, Assoc. Prof. F. Eshmatov, and associate professor of the department, O. Samadov, visited the enterprise.
During the visit:
students' practical activities and integration into the production process,
the formation of professional skills,
the level of mastering innovative technologies were studied.
Representatives of the institute and the management of the enterprise determined the prospects for mutual cooperation. In particular, the issues of ensuring the active participation of students and scientific and pedagogical staff in the development, technological testing and commercialization of new types of functional food products were discussed.
The enterprise's specialists noted that there are wide opportunities for implementing the innovative ideas of the institute's scientists into practice.
The enterprise's management also highly appreciated the effectiveness of the dual education program and announced its readiness to hire 10 more graduate students in the next academic year.
This cooperation will not only strengthen the integration of education and production, but also serve to improve the professional skills of young specialists, train competitive personnel in the labor market, and further strengthen the integration of science and production.
