At the conference "Priority directions for the development of higher education and science in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan" headed by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahim Saidzoda, a delegation of about 30 rectors of prestigious higher education institutions and from Uzbekistan Heads of more than 50 higher education institutions, heads of ministries and agencies are participating.
As well as the rectors of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich, the vice-rector for international cooperation Z.A.Babakhanova, the vice-rector for working with enterprises and educational institutions A.N. Shernayev, the head of the international relations department i S. Saidahmadov are participating.
At the forum, integration between the higher educational institutions of our country and the universities of Tajikistan, exchange of professors and teachers, organization of mutual educational processes, improvement of the quality of education, exchange of experience, internships, issues of professional development and development of cooperation in scientific activities will be discussed.
Rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich said "The main tasks and priorities of the development of the higher education system in Uzbekistan. A cooperation agreement was signed between the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan within the framework of the II Forum of Rectors of Uzbekistan-Tajikistan Higher Education Institutions.
