Uzbekistan hosts international media forum on freedom of speech and press

On May 3, World Press Freedom Day, an international media forum was held at the Renaissance Cinema on May 7 of this year.

The main goal of this international forum was to develop freedom of speech and press in Uzbekistan, ensure the constitutional rights of citizens in the information sphere, discuss current issues related to the sphere, and draw public attention to the role and importance of freedom of speech in the process of reforms in the development of society and the state.

The forum was attended by prominent journalists, bloggers, media representatives, industry experts, and representatives of government organizations from Uzbekistan and foreign countries.

In addition, along with the press secretaries of all higher educational institutions, the press secretary of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Egamnazar Abdulboqiyev, also actively participated.
