The first Uzbekistan-Latvia education forum

The first education forum between Uzbekistan and Latvia was held in the Latvian capital, Riga. Representatives of the ministries of higher education of the two countries and heads of about 50 leading higher education institutions participated in this prestigious conference.

The forum was attended by the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology B.Sh.Usmanov and the head of the International Cooperation and Protocol Department S.Saidahmadov. In his speech, B.Sh.Usmanov emphasized the importance of further expanding cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries, developing joint scientific projects and academic exchange programs.
