The intelligence of the Uzbek woman - towards science, education and innovation!

On October 11, 2025, a solemn event entitled "Dedicated to education, science and innovation - the intelligence of the Uzbek woman" was held at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology on the occasion of International Girls' Day.

It was attended by the rector of our institute, Usmonov Botir Shukurillayevich, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nurmatova Mukarram Akhmedovna, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of “Uzkimyosanoat” JSC, Abdurakhmanova Sanobar Makhammadaminovna, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Safarov Toyir Tursunovich, First Vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs, Boborajabov Bakhodir Nasriddinovich, Vice-rector for International Relations and Transformation, Babakhanova Zebo Abdullayevna, Advisor to the rector for women's issues, Chairman of the Women's Council of the institute, Aripova Gulnora Shukhratullaevna, advisors to the dean for women's issues, and students and youth.

Before the event, the visiting guests got acquainted with the scientific developments and innovative projects prepared by the scientists of our institute.

The event was opened by the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Usmonov Botir Shukurillaevich, who emphasized that the purpose of this event is to recognize the role and contribution of women and girls in the fields of education, science, and innovation, to inspire the younger generation of girls towards science and enlightenment, and to support their leadership potential.

After that, Nurmatova Mukarram Akhmedovna, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan, spoke and touched upon the importance of the reforms being implemented in our country to provide comprehensive support to women and strengthen their social and spiritual activity.

During the event, Abdurakhmanova Sanobar Makhammadaminovna, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Uzkimyosanoat JSC, spoke and emphasized the importance of increasing the activity of women in the fields of science and innovation, encouraging young girls to acquire modern knowledge and professions, as well as to confidently strive for their potential.

During the event, lectures and presentations were presented on the activities of women scientists conducting scientific research in the field of chemistry. It provided detailed information about the achievements of women in chemistry and technology, their contribution to the development of science, and the innovative developments they created.

Also, ideas were expressed aimed at attracting young girls to scientific activities and directing them towards science and innovation based on the successful experience of scientists.

During the artistic part of the event, a video depicting the process of visiting the house-museum of the great writer Oybek and scenes from the play “Oybegim mening” were shown. The stage performances performed by the students skillfully expressed the mutual respect, life devotion and human qualities of Oybek and Zarifa Saidnosirova.

These moments evoked an atmosphere of deep silence, excitement and inspiration in the hall.

At the end of the event, the most active scientists and talented female students actively participating in the field of science and innovation were awarded certificates of honor and souvenirs by Mukarram Ahmedovna Nurmatova, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
