An open lesson on the topic “Methods of obtaining cellulose from cotton” was held

On November 11, 2025, an open lesson on the topic “Methods of obtaining cellulose from cotton” was held by PhD, senior lecturer D.Sh.Khamdamova at the Faculty of Oil and Gas Technologies on the subject “Technology of processing raw materials containing cellulose” based on interactive methods.

Modern educational technologies, electronic projector, exhibition posters, and the teaching methods “Veen diagram”, “Cluster”, “Sinkwain” were effectively used during the lesson.

Active participation of students was ensured, and theoretical knowledge was combined with practical exercises.

The experts highly appreciated the high pedagogical skills of PhD D.Sh.Khamdamova, the ability to consistently and clearly explain the topic, her individual approach to students, and the effective use of interactive methods.

The open lesson was attended by the head of the department "Cellulose and Wood Technology" Prof. A.Sh. Khusenov, professor of the department M.K. Abdumavlyanova, and professors of the department "Oil and Gas Technology" T.B. Turayev and E. Saidakhmedov.
