According to the initiative of our state, in recent years the main goal of reforms carried out in the system of higher education is to train qualified personnel with modern knowledge, develop international cooperation with developed countries of the world, as well as to create opportunities for increasing the scientific and academic experience of the teaching staff and research staff of higher educational and scientific institutions of our country abroad.

From this point of view, it is important to ensure the participation of students in short-term and long-term training courses, conferences and seminars in foreign educational institutions, as well as the involvement of foreign qualified specialists in the educational process.

In order to fulfill the tasks set by the head of state, and in accordance with the order of the institute dated September 23, 2024 № 331, from September 26 to 28 of the current year, professors and teachers of the Department of Technological Machines and Equipment, as well as for 3rd year students of groups B21-02TM1 (HP), B21-02TM2 (HP), B21-02TM4 (HP) in the discipline "Machines and equipment of the chemical industry" Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Russian University of Chemical Technology, Head of the Department of Processes and apparatus of chemical technology Leonid Vladimirovich Ravichev held a 12-hour master class on the topic "Processes and installations of rectification and absorption. Column installations. Types of packings"

During the master class, students became familiar with the principles of operation, the design of rectification and absorption processes and installations, types of packing, the movement of gas and liquid in tray packing, the transition of mass from one phase to another, as well as the use of bubbling in cases where interaction of liquid, gas (or steam) is necessary.

At the end of the master class, students asked questions that interested them and received sufficient information.

Professor Leonid Vladimirovich Ravichev was also introduced to the educational, methodological and scientific research activities of the Department of Technological machines and equipment, and cooperation was established in the educational, methodological and scientific research activities of the department.
