On May 3, 2025, the vice-rectors of the Institute of Industry and Service and the delegation of the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute jointly discussed the educational programs to be taught at the branch planned to be opened.
Presentations were organized for 1st-3rd year students of the Institute of Industry and Service and detailed information was provided about the Faculty of Food and Wine Technologies of the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute, its departments and educational areas. Students were promoted on academic mobility, undergraduate educational areas and master's degrees.
After the negotiations and discussions, a signing ceremony was held between the leadership of the Institute of Industry and Service and the leadership of the Institute of Industry and Service on cooperation and the establishment of the TKTI branch.
The leadership of the Institute of Industry and Service, the acting vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations A.N. Shernaev was awarded the title of honorary professor for his invaluable contribution to the development of science, education and society of the institutes operating within the framework of the two countries.
As a result of the delegation's visit to the Institute of Industry and Service in Khujand, Sughd region, the Republic of Tajikistan, on May 2-3, 2025, the following results were achieved:
An agreement was signed to open a branch of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technology of the TKTI at the Institute of Industry and Service in Khujand, Sughd region, the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was agreed to organize admissions in the branch for bachelor's programs 60720100-Food Technology (by product type) and 60810700-Technology of Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products.
The studies of the branch students are carried out on the basis of the current curricula approved by the TKTI. No changes will be made to the curricula.
It is planned to allocate 1 lecture room for 60 people, 1 practical training room, 1 laboratory room and 1 professor-teacher room for the branch. Joint use of all the classrooms and laboratories of the Institute of Industry and Service for the training of branch students.
To organize the training of doctoral students and advanced training of professors and teachers at the TKTI base for the Institute of Industry and Service.
To organize academic mobility for students so that the biotechnology educational direction is available at this educational institution. Also, to organize the teaching of TKTI professors and teachers to students of the Institute of Industry and Service.
It was agreed that professors and teachers of the TKTI and the Institute of Industry and Services will jointly prepare articles, literature, and scientific projects, and execute business contracts based on scientific and technical data from manufacturing enterprises in Tajikistan.
