A round table discussion on combating corruption and preventing crime was held at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
In order to widely promote the content and practical significance of the regulatory legal acts on combating corruption and preventing crime signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a round table discussion was organized on May 13, 2025 with the participation of students and employees of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Technologies of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs T. Safarov, Head of the Department for Managing the Anti-Corruption "Compliance Control" System M. Imomaliyeva, Head of the Department for Handling Appeals and Enforcement Discipline Kh. Berdiev, Head of the Department for Working with Youth, Spirituality and Education R. Goziyev, and Chief Specialist of the "Compliance Control" System I. Ismailov.
The roundtable discussion discussed the negative impact of corruption on society, the role of educational institutions in preventing it, as well as important ideas on improving legal literacy among students. At the end of the event, a question-and-answer session was held with the students. It was decided that the suggestions and recommendations made by them would be discussed separately and forwarded to the relevant authorities.
